2. Call-Out Charges
At Elec Serv, we believe in being clear and transparent about all charges. A call-out fee will apply for every service, whether it is a scheduled visit or an emergency. Our call-out charges are based on the time of day and the nature of the job. The fee is payable upfront, prior to the commencement of any work.
3. Payment Terms
We require payment upfront for all services, including the call-out charge and the estimated cost of the work. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, or other methods as agreed upon at the time of booking. Payment must be settled in full before any work begins.
4. Emergency Services
Elec Serv operates as an emergency electrician service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are available for urgent electrical repairs, installations, and troubleshooting. Please note that emergency services may attract higher rates based on the urgency and timing of the request.
5. Additional Charges
In addition to standard service fees, Elec Serv charges for any applicable vehicle parking charges and transport-related expenses incurred during the provision of services. This includes, but is not limited to:
Parking fees, including metered parking or parking permits.
Congestion charges or low emission zone charges, where applicable under UK law.
Any other transport-related expenses necessary to complete the job.
These charges will be added to the final invoice and must be paid in full.
6. Liability
Elec Serv takes every precaution to ensure the safety and reliability of our services. However, we are not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from issues outside our control, including pre-existing damage, faulty equipment provided by the client, or any unforeseen circumstances.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
8. Compliance with UK Law
Elec Serv operates in full compliance with all UK laws and regulations, including safety standards and environmental policies. We follow all legal requirements regarding emissions, parking, and other transport-related charges.
